The resident MWK  The Designer info@menwhoknitandthedogswholovethem.com We're Annie & Drew & we're writing a book for Lark Press to be titled Men Who Knit (and the Dogs Who Love Them...)  When it came down to determining editorial content, we knew that it would be impossible to produce a good men's knitting book without feedback from male knitters. Our book will include not just a wide collection of sweaters and items for me along with matching items for a pooch, but profiles and bios on real men who knit for relaxation and pleasure. The Sweaters The patterns in MWK&TDWLT will run from Very Simple to Challenging - sweaters that you'll love to knit and love to wear (seriously.) The Dawg Thang Oh - the dog thing - well, we love dogs, too.  And we love cats. Along with the men's sweaters there will also be a healthy collection of pet items to knit up. For the most part these will be simple projects that can be worked up as a "swatch project" before attempting the matching men's sweater.   The idea is that the pet projects can be used to learn a new stitch or technique that is used in an accompanying man's sweater.
